Spring Water

After the release of my self-produced instrumental EP “Lucia,” I wanted to foray into traditional singer-songwriter territory. I spent a couple of years in Los Angeles, letting songs come to me when they were ready. I had so much material, a lot ended up on the cutting room floor.

I wrote about what I know life to be. Looking back on the simple joy of childhood sandcastles, the lonely drive I would take to high school everyday, and desperately wanting to be swept away by something bigger….

Nick Anton produced the album and helped capture the swells of saxophone and chirps of flute I heard swirling inside my head… and he made my voice sound amazing!

Spring Water incidentally became a journey through my life — from my simple early years to my more recent questions about reality and purpose. Bringing together all of the musical influences of my life. It is a very special piece, and I am proud to share it with the world!
